A Runner Again?

I ran 3 miles without any pain this morning. So excited!!!! My speed is gone, as is my endurance, but so was the pain. That is a great thing! Speed and endurance will come back. Just hope the pain doesn't!

My name is Mandy and I just found your blog! I too discovered running in my 30's. I am now 32 and completed my first half a few weeks ago. My next goal is to run a 5k in under 30 minutes. My PR is 30:47. After that I will decide what's next...a full or another half? We will see!

Mandy, I'm not sure where your comment went, but I accepted it! Glad to meet you. I had that sub-30 minute goal early in my running career, too. I finally made it in a race in June 2008. It's a good feeling! Congrats on discovering running and your half-marathon!
