I added this to my title, but in case you missed it----
"Running isn't about how far you go, but how far you've come."
-- Bart Yasso
Good to remember. What's your favorite running quote?

That is a great quote! One that reminds me of you, Donna, is the quote from Eric Liddell in "Chariots of Fire": "I believe God made me for a purpose, but he also made me fast. And when I run I feel His pleasure."
When I run, I often think of a poem I love called, "Lilacs in September", by Katha Pollitt (you can google it if you want to see the poem). It ends with a question: "What will unlease itself in you when your storm comes?"
Garrr! Correct quote: "What will UNLEASH itself in you when your storm comes?"
Thanks for the two quotes!
Sigh. I WISH God had made me fast. He just made me regular. :-)
The Lilacs in Sept. quote reminds me of the one I added to my profile---"It's never too late to be what you might have been" by George Eliot.
"It's not that you finish, it's that you had the courage to start." Or something like that....
